John Murrell’s timely, funny and touching play focuses on how five Canadian women
are drawn together during World War II for the common purpose of working for the
war effort, and more importantly, how they help each other survive the war while
the men in their lives are off fighting.
Director, Bev Nicholas feels that "this play is very prevalent today with our
Canadian military at war in Afghanistan" and is looking forward to taking
on this challenging and enriching play.
